Background of WTN Network and its Members

The members of WTN have worked together through Legion Global, a leading security consulting firm and the Children’s Rescue Alliance (CRA), a non-profit organization and leader in the fight against human trafficking and its educational safety division, CDA (Children’s Defense Alliance). For over a decade, our commitment to safety and security has remained unwavering, setting the standard for schools and communities worldwide.

The Network was born out of a need to provide a safe and effective conduit for their own programming. When COVID hit, their safety programs were on dozens of platforms. None provided all of the tools needed to relay a program securely and with all of the bells and whistles that an educational or civic organization might need or want. Thus, WTN was born. It was built to our exact specifications -by us, for us.

Adding other Programming:

Legions safety programs (4 national pilot programs), made CDA a preferred provider and a leader in providing superior content.  We have heard for over a decade from educators, counselors and clergy that they needed and wanted educational options for their students. Thus, we decided to open the network to other unique programs. Due to our reach within the schools (grades 1- 12 and colleges and universities) and within civic organizations, we began to onboard additional programs.

About Legion Global:

Legion Global provides expert solutions in safety and security leveraging its international expertise to develop effective safety programs and protocols.

About CRA (Children’s Rescue Alliance) and CDA (Children’s Defense Alliance):

CRA is the non-profit whose focus is on the facilitation & rescue of children who have been kidnapped for sex trafficking.

CDA, powered by Legion Global, is the educational branch of CRA, and is a leader in providing safety curriculum, offering comprehensive programs tailored to enhance safety awareness and response skills across various educational levels and community sectors. CDA (Alex Riggs) was tasked with developing a National Safety Pilot Program in 2014 for U. S. High Schools and has created 3 additional National Safety Pilot Programs for kids ages 4 – 18 (all age appropriate). The Museum and Library Services have endorsed our Safety Programs and even tasked the organization with developing numerous National Pilot Programs.

Alex Riggs, has also lectured about Safety and Security at the United Nations and speaks nationally as well as internationally on the subjects of safety and security – especially as it relates to kids, young adults, and educational facilities.

“CDA’s track record speaks for itself and our commitment to safety is unwavering,” states Alex Riggs. “Over the past decade, we have pioneered safety and security programs, facilitated rescue operations for children who were kidnapped for sex-trafficking, and conducted over 600 in-person trainings and hundreds more on-line. We are committed to equipping schools with the tools they need to protect their students and staff.”

CDA, through the safety programs, soon became a preferred “educational” provider of programs (relating to safety and trafficking). They provide 4 national pilot programs as well as a plethora of other safety related programs for children and adults.
